Shops, restaurants, offices and apartment communities in Scottsdale are generally required to keep their bins screened from view. We build the gates and steel framing for those enclosures and replace gates that have been beaten up by years of truck service.
Enclosure gates are heavy and are opened hard every week. We hang them on steel posts set in deep concrete footings, separate from the block wall, with cane bolts and stops that keep them from swinging into traffic. Metal slat or panel infill outlasts wood in the sun.
The size and position usually come from the approved site plan and the hauler's clearance needs. We check both, and the city's requirements for the parcel, before we fabricate.
Dumpster enclosures in Scottsdale: common questions
Can you replace only the gates?
Yes. That is the most common request. New steel posts are often part of it, because the old hinges were set in block.
What infill lasts longest?
Steel or composite. Wood slats dry out and break within a few summers.
Will the hauler be able to get in?
We measure the opening and approach against the hauler's requirements before building.
